(no LYE), expression (variant of English “don’t lie”)
Don’t make/stop making false statements.
Example:
1st youth: Check my hat, brah. Nice, eh? i bought ‘um las’ night.
2nd youth: NO LIE! Lemme see dat t’ing. Eensai stay write my name.
1st youth: Nah nah nah nah nah nah…cool yo’ jets, brah. Wuz in study hall, under yo’ chair.

NO LIE
1. Calling someone out for a falsehood.
2. Correcting a fallacy.
3. A statement of disbelief in response to something said by another, which could be true or false.
Examples:
a. No lie. That’s not what wen go down.
b. No lie, the fish you caught was more like this small.
c. No lie, she neva said that. Brah, fo’ real! That’s what wen happen, I was there!

NO LIE
1. Do not tell something truthfully.
Examples:
