1. An individual of questionable intellect, poor judgment, or both.
Example:

2. A person witnessed in an insensible or inadvisable act; may be used with children, in an affectionate, playful, teasing manner.
Example:

BABOOZE
1. A lovable fool.
2. That one donkey you’re quite fond of.
3. Referring to a person, who has done something done, silly, or made a poor, though not necessarily life or death choice.
4. While this word can be used to describe anyone, very commonly used by elders in reference to the actions of younger ‘ohana, friends, and associates.
Examples:
a. Eh, look at dat babooze walking in da middle of the road ova dea.
b. Who dat babooze tink dey are?
c. Damn, keed! Quit ack-ting like one babooze bumbye you get slaps.
